Anna Carreras’ work has a strong relationship to the Spanish landscape where she spends her time, and her piece in Social Codes, “Arrels,” connects drawing, code, and the environment through a cycle of growth and decay. While Anna looks to nature for the source of her work, she interprets and transforms her experience into carefully choreographed generative animation.
