
Linda Dounia
Linda Dounia is a Senegalese multidisciplinary artist, designer and writer driven by a passion for representing and empowering diverse communities through design and technology. Her work focuses on post-colonial technology and design, envisioning potential futures through speculative design and science fiction while drawing on indigenous knowledge systems.
Dounia explores the social construction of power and its cultural implications using a transdisciplinary approach that merges physical and digital mediums. She has held design lead positions at IDEO.org, Google, Dalberg and the African Leadership University, applying her skills to create positive impact.
Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Art Basel Miami, the Dakar Biennale, Unit London and the Museum of Newfangled Art. Her contributions have been featured in publications including Vogue Singapore, Nataal and The Art Newspaper. Dounia is also the founder of Cyber Baat DAO, a decentralized autonomous collective of African descent on the blockchain.
