Elman Mansimov
Elman Mansimov is a research scientist currently working on foundational large language models (LLMs) at Amazon. His research focused on advancing natural language processing and deep learning to create meaningful benefits for users. With an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from University of Toronto and a Ph.D. from NYU, Mansimov helped lead a team of developers to create the innovative alignDRAW model. The model reversed the typical process by generating images from text instead of labeling them. The artwork from the alignDRAW NFT series was first published in the academic paper Generating Images from Captions with Attention in 2015, which gained international recognition and contributed significantly to the rapid evolution of AI-generated imagery.
