Gene Kogan

Gene Kogan is an accomplished artist, programmer and educator whose practice centers on creative applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. A prominent figure in this field since the early 2010s, he was recognized in Artnet's 2018 feature on the most influential trailblazers at the intersection of AI and art, appearing alongisde pioneers such as Anna Ridler, Sofia Crespo, Helena Sarin and Mario Klingemann.

Kogan has made several significant contributions to the generative art space, most notably developing Abraham, the first-ever decentralized artist and co-founding Braindrops, a curated short-form AI art platform on Etherelaunched the platform's genesis project, Brain Loops.
