John Maeda

Biography
John Maeda is an American technologist and product experience leader who bridges business, engineering and design through inclusive work. In his early career, Maeda was a research professor at MIT in computational design and helped redefine electronic media and computer programming as tools for artistic expression. He received the White House’s National Design Award, and his work is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
Maeda is Vice President of Design and Artificial Intelligence at Microsoft. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer of Everbridge and was President of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
