Lisa Orth
Lisa Orth is an American artist who seamlessly transitions between traditional and digital realms, working across generative art, graphic design and tattooing. With a background in graphic design and art direction, Orth helped define the grunge aesthetic in the late 1980s, leaving an indelible mark through iconic designs for Sub Pop Records and Nirvana.
In response to the pandemic’s impact on in-person art forms, Orth shifted to digital art and blockchain technology in 2020. Focusing on generative art, she uses Processing and p5.js to create mesmerizing algorithmic works. Her code-based artwork has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Art Basel Paris, NFT Show Europe, Seattle NFT Museum, Seattle Art Fair and Tannhäuser Generative Art Museum.
From the grunge era to the NFT space, Orth continues to innovate, connecting art and technology through her work.
