Jenni Pasanen

Jenni Pasanen is a Finnish artist who combines digital painting with the power of artificial intelligence to create unprecedented and captivating work. With a lifelong background in art and over 13 years of experience in design and animation, Pasanen fulfilled her dream of becoming a full-time artist in late 2021. She began exhibiting her work globally the following year.

Her artistic journey took a transformative turn upon discovering the world of AI art. Since then, Pasanen has pursued a seamless fusion of AI technology and digital painting, resulting in surreal illustrations with an ethereal aesthetic. She describes her process as layering various elements and incorporating animation, photography and 3D into her compositions.

Pasanen’s distinctive style transports viewers into dreamlike realms. Her illustrations often feature faceless figures floating amidst smoky, pastel-colored backgrounds and mystical landscapes inhabited by cloud-like animals. Drawing inspiration from AI-generated images, distant memories and everyday objects, Pasanen believes that our surroundings and experiences shape our reality—something she translates onto her canvas.
