Entangled Others

Entangled Others is the collaborative studio practice of artists Feileacan McCormick and Sofia Crespo. Their work explores ecology, nature and generative systems, with the aim of giving non-human entities a presence in the digital realm. The duo explores the intersections of biologically inspired technologies and themes of interconnection, biodiversity and awareness. Through their work, they emphasize how intentional use of technology can illuminate the interconnected and often invisible dimensions of existence. At the heart of their practice is the idea of entanglement — a complex state in which no entity can be considered separate or unaffected by others. We cannot exist without others, act without interacting, or speak without being heard.
